MEET THE MBK TEAM
Rickie Clark founded the organization, Strategies To Elevate People (S.T.E.P.), over twenty years ago. For the last three years, S.T.E.P. has coordinated the MBK Program in Fort Worth ISD, Having successfully worked in youth development, his goal has always been to help youth achieve their goals and realize their true potential through self-development, positive attitude, higher education, and entrepreneurship.
Amon Rashidi is an internationally recognized master trainer, spoken word artist, dynamic speaker, and community organizer with a history of activism and social intervention spanning over 30 years. As host of the top-rated Griot Nation Radio Show, a Billboard-charted spoken word artist, 2013 Essence Award winner, and decorated violence prevention and intervention expert, Amon’s unique skill set expands the scope of services to the My Brother’s Keeper initiative.
Robert Nelson is an accomplished speaker and the author of “The Greatest Sales Training in the World.”
As a veteran sales professional, Robert has channelled years of experience into a powerful entrepreneurship training program. He teaches youth how to bring value to the marketplace, and thus create their own jobs and businesses by fulfilling consumer needs.
Bryan Humphrey is a published author and a TEDx speaker with a message about overcoming obstacles and reaching self-fulfilment. Bryan has earned a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Sociology. He is committed to helping individuals find a career path that will bring them personal satisfaction while enabling them to maximize their contribution to humanity.
UNCN has engaged some of America’s top institutions such as Youth Build, Job Core, and the Department of Labor to build best practices for engaging and motivating youth and their parents. He brings decades of intensive study and practical experience in holistic health and wellness, relationship building and trauma reversal.
Jon in an experienced program advisor with demonstrated history of working in the public safety industry, non- profits and health and wellness. He is a strong community and social services professional with a Bachelors of Science (BS) focused in Combined Sciences (Environmental and Biology) and Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies from Texas Christian University.
Onesimo is a graduate of R.L. Paschal High School where he was the president of the My Brother’s Keeper chapter. He currently attends Tarrant County College, pursuing a bachelor’s in business administration and political science. As a facilitator for MBK, his goal is to inspire young brothers and sisters to ask the right questions, to become leaders in their communities.
Dudley is a sought-after speaker, author, entrepreneur, and successful mentor and mindset coach, who shows youth and adults how to change their lives and achieve success through leadership principles. Known as “Dr. Bounceback,” and as a full-time father, youth football coach and mentor to many, he is a global servant on a mission to impact the world.
